After 2 years of development, our Super Nutrient Haircare is finally here! Our 100% natural haircare is made with a 60% to 80% organic Seaweed & our specific haircare herbal infusion.

These two new products came about because Richard knew that I hadn’t found a shampoo & conditioner that I was completely satisfied with. I had tried so many, & although some were pretty good, I still wasn’t happy with the effect on my hair, whilst being gentle & kind to my hair, skin & the planet.

So, Richard, with his knowledge about the benefits & traditional uses of specific herbs for skin and haircare, set about developing a first prototype for me to try. Those very first versions, whilst needing some tweaks were actually far better & different to any other shampoo & conditioner I had ever tried!

Over the next few months, we refined & developed the shampoo & conditioner using the same herb base & adding seaweed as we already knew how amazing this is for hair & skin. I am now overjoyed with the effect these two have on my hair….not frizzy/dry or over moisturised/lank. I can feel that it has improved the structure of each hair, without any compromise!

And now finally, they are ready for us to share with you too! We hope you love them as much as we do!

The Extraction Process

We create unique extractions using our organic Seaweed & other key herbs. We carefully prepare these over a number of days, & they form the base for each of our products.

Once this extraction is ready, we use this to make our unique products.

Haircare herbs

Tuber Fleeceflower Root:
A.k.a Polygonum Multiflorum. An amazing plant for hair care, it can stimulate healthy hair growth & balance oils. It is anti-aging for hair.
Angelica Sinensis Root:
This root helps stimulate oxygen in the scalp to help prevent hair loss.
Frankincense:
We love Frankincense & use it in quite a few of our skincare products. We extract from whole Frankincense. It helps to deliver shiny hair & a healthy scalp.
Mint Leaf:
Simple mint is actually a great skincare herb. It can help with dandruff & scalp issues in general.
Haircare Plant Oils:
We add Oat Kernel to improve elasticity in dry/damaged hair & to hydrate the hair shafts & Argan Oil to reduce breakage & split ends.

About Us

We are Hannah and Richard. We met down here in furthest west Cornwall.

We combine Richard’s knowledge of traditional oriental medicine (he has a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a practicing Acupuncturist), with our love of the wild Cornish Sea and its’ amazing seaweeds! From this we create unique skin and body care for everyone to enjoy!

Super Nutrient Shampoo

I’ve only used the shampoo about 3 times but I do feel my hair nice and soft after washing and even the next day it feels lovely. Unfortunately I am ‘nose blind’ I suffer with anosmia and I cannot tell you about the product smell but it must be nice as no one has complained about any strange smells!
I think I shall be ordering again, I imagine if I was allergic to any ingredient it would have shown by now, thank you 😊

Love that this is a Cornish product .I purchased both shampoo and conditioner however realised it was the shampoo that I most liked with a colour conditioner . Great if you ever get a slightly itchy scalp and hair feels good not weighed down . I have fine hair chin length and it just works for me .I dont over wash my hair maybe twice a week with some oil care inbetween.

So far I have tried the body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I like all of the products very much and I think my chronically itchy scalp has improved since using the products. I feel I have to use more of the shampoo in order to achieve a bit of a lather but have to use very little of the conditioner so it probably evens out.
